  • Radio host Raymond Jones presents 'A Local Touch: Music with a Virginia Connection' on WHRO-FM at 9:00 p.m. today, featuring familiar carols and local ensembles including the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band.  WHRO
  • WHRO-FM will air Handel at the Met, a holiday celebration broadcast featuring classics such as Rinaldo, Samson & excerpts from Rodelinda on Saturday, Dec. 27 at 1 p.m., offering local listeners a taste of Handel’s timeless work.  WHRO
  • Outside the Lines Art Studio in Ghent offers weekly sensory art classes where participants can explore creative mess-making and enjoy relaxed sessions designed for neurodivergent individuals and all ages (including preschoolers and adults). Owner Melanie Cramer said the studio focuses on the creative process rather than a finished product.  WHRO
