- ➤ WHRO-FM will broadcast Mozart’s live performance of The Magic Flute on Saturday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. on 90.3 FM; the abridged, English version features tenor Paul Appleby, soprano Joélle Harvey, and the Met orchestra conducted by Steven White. WHRO
- ➤ The exhibition Beyond the Mountains by photographer Danny Lyon opens Friday, Dec. 19 at the Chrysler Museum of Art. The 38 black-and-white photos, gifted by George Stephanopoulos, show 1980s Haiti during a time of change. WHRO
