  • PBS Kids is airing festive holiday specials today with favorites like Wild Kratts: A Creature Christmas and Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas plus a new Weather Hunters special. Families can download DIY ornaments instructions and watch the programs on WHRO TV 15 or online.  WHRO

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The USS Forrest Sherman returned home to Norfolk for the holidays after a 7-month deployment, reuniting sailors with family. The ship is set for a major overhaul with hull repairs and command upgrades (a $139 million contract awarded to BEA Systems) to finish in 2027.  WHRO
