- ➤ A Navy investigation found that preventable accidents caused by fatigue, poor training, and miscommunication endangered over 100 sailors during USS Truman’s deployment in the Red Sea, including a collision that created a 15-ft gash; commander (Capt. Michael D. Snowden) was fired and upgrades to AEGIS are underway to improve safety. WHRO

- ➤ The MEAC announced its Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors, naming Howard’s Bryce Harris as Player of the Week, North Carolina Central’s Dionte Johnson as Defensive Player of the Week, & Howard’s Danas Kazakevicius as Rookie of the Week.
