  • Selden Market will host a ribbon cutting on December 5 at 11:00 a.m. at 208 E. Main Street as it opens three new businesses—Juniper and Jam, Model Citizen, and Avocargo—that will offer jams, ready-to-drink cocktails, and chef-inspired meals with previews and samples for the community.  City of Norfolk

CULTURE NEWS

  • Every Saturday at 8:00 p.m., WHRO-FM airs This Just In as host Raymond Jones presents new classical recordings including a Hyperion release of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker reimagined by Mikhail Pletnev (featuring a new album, Christmas at the Castle, by touring ensembles and selections from Bach, Beethoven, and Shostakovich) that invite listeners to welcome December.  WHRO
