FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ The average rate on a 30-year mortgage fell to 6.5% this week from 6.56% last week, giving Norfolk homebuyers more power to purchase a home. Rates on 15-year fixed loans also dropped to 5.6% from 5.69%, and Freddie Mac said the decline comes as investors expect the Fed to cut its key rate later this month—trends that have been seen since late July. 13 News Now
