- ➤ Today, hundreds of local labor unions and community organizations gathered at Town Point Park for the Workers Over Billionaires rally and march in Norfolk—using signs and chants to demand more community investment and protest rising income inequality. The demonstrators marched over 2 miles as part of a nationwide effort to defend working families. WAVY

- ➤ From Sept. 1 to Sept. 30, Nauticus, the Virginia Zoo and Norfolk Botanical Garden have teamed up so members of one place get free entry to the other two—plus discounts and a chance to win prizes like a Carnival Cruise Line cruise for two.
