A new Target is coming to Wards Corner this October—its 129,187 sqft space on East Little Creek Road will have a CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks, wider aisles, and expanded grocery options with next-day delivery.
Employees are stocking shelves as residents discuss traffic improvements and look forward to the opening.
🏛️ Government
At least 4,000 Dominion Energy customers in Norfolk lost power early today with outages mainly in Ghent & parts of the NEON District.
The utility said a circuit issue is to blame and expects power to return by 5 a.m., while the city warns motorists about potentially malfunctioning traffic signals.
Norfolk City Council approved up to $40 million in revenue bonds to fund stormwater & wastewater projects. $5 million will support the St. Paul’s Blue/Greenway project while $35 million upgrades the sewer system as part of the city’s Capital Improvement Plan to fight flooding.
