- ➤ A Norfolk man was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Friday after pleading guilty to federal drug charges including conspiracy to distribute cocaine, heroin, and psilocyn and possession of a firearm to further a crime—police said a search of his vehicle also uncovered $1600, drugs, and four firearms. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ USNS Comfort returned to Naval Station Norfolk Sunday morning after a summer deployment as part of Continuing Promise 2025. The ship treated thousands of patients in Grenada, Panama, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago while working with local governments and NGOs to deliver disaster relief — marking its eighth mission of this kind.
