- ➤ David Leroy Carver Jr., 47, caused trouble on a Breeze Airways flight from Norfolk to Los Angeles by making rude, racially hurtful comments, throwing chewing tobacco, and hitting a flight attendant—he was charged in Grand Junction on Thursday and investigators from the FBI and local police are still looking into the incident. - ➤ Cameron Bertrand—a community activist and gun violence survivor—said he will sue Norfolk Police after his court hearing on Friday dropped the obstruction charge linked to his wrongful detention during a June 21 Juneteenth event near 700 Lincoln Street. WAVY
