Norfolk Police charged a Chesapeake man with malicious wounding, four counts of attempted malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony after a 17-year-old boy suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at 880 North Military Highway on Monday night — officers responded to Sentara Leigh Hospital around 9:35 p.m. and the investigation remains ongoing.

A report from SCHEV shows that tuition and fees at Virginia’s public colleges are rising this fall—VCU and VSU nearly by 4.5% while Norfolk State increases by 2.3% as average costs climb just over $29,000.
