- ➤ Police responded to a report of a suspicious package near the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel on the 1500 block of West Ocean View Avenue at about 10:45 a.m. Friday—bomb squad officers examined the item and confirmed it was safe before the tunnel reopened. WAVY
- ➤ The inmate classification manager — Tashonna L. McKinzie, 49 — was arrested Tuesday, July 29 around 2:30 p.m. on charges of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, conspiracy to violate the drug control act and possession of a firearm while PWID fentanyl in Norfolk and Virginia Beach and was later released on bond. - ➤ A person is fighting for life in the hospital after being shot in Norfolk’s Young Terrace area at 10:20 a.m. on the 400 block of Nicholson Street Friday. 3 WTKR
