  • Wasserhund Brewing Co. announced Tuesday it will open its third location at 2411 Granby Street in Norfolk this fall—bringing its signature brews, artisan eats, and retro arcade twist to the Railroad District.  3 WTKR

CRIME NEWS

  • On Monday night a man was injured after a stabbing in the 1000 block of Galt Street near Tidewater Drive and Church Street — officers responded just before 8 p.m. and he was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound as the investigation continues.  WAVY

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The USS George H.W. Bush is a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier where 4,000 sailors work and train to keep America safe at sea—commissioned in 2009, it supports aircraft operations that defend freedom on the ocean. This ship shows how our Navy prepares its crews for modern challenges.  WAVY
  • Several Norfolk railroad crossings will close in July for repairs as part of a Norfolk Southern project. East Little Creek Road at Wards Corner began closure on July 22 at 8 a.m., Tait Terrace will close today at 8 a.m., and Chesapeake Boulevard near Cromwell Road is set to close on July 29 at 8 a.m.—drivers are advised to follow detour routes using local streets as outlined by officials—.  WAVY
