Navies from NATO and allied nations are drilling off Norfolk today as part of FLEETEX—a joint exercise featuring 30 ships and roughly 10,000 sailors that marks the largest such event in Hampton Roads since the 1970s.
Adm. Doug Perry said the drill includes amphibious operations and mass casualty simulations.
