- ➤ Norfolk police are investigating a gunshot disturbance on the 700 block of Lincoln Street today after a 2:00 p.m. call led officers to find one person injured on the 800 block of Smith Street—two others were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening wounds. WAVY

- ➤ Chesapeake deputies from the Sheriff’s Office are coaching a free football camp for about 200 kids today despite temperatures in the 90s. The camp started in 2010 — it provides water stations for relief — and helps kids get active outdoors. WAVY
