- ➤ Portsmouth police said a double shooting on Elm Avenue left 39-year-old Omar Tyron Evans dead at the scene and 43-year-old Alice Otealia Watson dead later at a hospital, and detectives are asking for help to identify two armed-and-dangerous suspects seen in surveillance footage. 3 WTKR
- ➤ A man was shot on Evergreen Street in Norfolk on Friday and was taken to a hospital with a non life-threatening wound — Norfolk Police are investigating the shooting. WAVY
- ➤ Norfolk Police said they found a dead female bully breed dog in a cage near Rippard Avenue and O'Conner Crescent on May 31 — and PETA is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest. 3 WTKR
