- ➤ This weekend, veterans met in Norfolk to remember 34 sailors killed in the USS Liberty attack 58 years ago at a ceremony held at a Sheraton hotel and a VFW post where 34 roses marked each loss. The Liberty Veterans Association stopped a speaker after learning he made hateful posts online and added law enforcement—no trouble occurred—and said there will be no reunion in 2026. 3 WTKR
