- ➤ Hundreds gathered at Christ and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk on Wednesday to honor Judge Jerrauld C. Jones, who passed away on May 31. Jones served as a Norfolk Circuit Court judge and state delegate (he was also the first African American law clerk to the Supreme Court of Virginia) and is survived by his wife, Judge Lyn Simmons and his son Jay Jones (a former delegate now running for attorney general). 3 WTKR

- ➤ Sentara Health’s Patient and Family Advisory Councils across its 12 hospitals meet monthly with hospital leaders to listen to community feedback and guide changes in care and hospital design—efforts that have already improved patient communication and service.
