  • Norfolk Public Schools will close Norview Elementary next year as part of a redistricting and consolidation effort. GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Norfolk's 15th Bike Month features a new protected bike lane with concrete barriers that separate cyclists from traffic, connecting downtown & Ocean View. City leaders say the project aims to improve safety today while future plans call for additional pedestrian upgrades on Granby Street.  WHRO
  • City leaders and Dominion Energy met with residents today at Lambert's Point Community Center (as part of a $3 million federal project) to discuss LED streetlight upgrades (addressing brightness and glare).
