- ➤ A crash on I-64 closed all westbound lanes at the HRBT in Norfolk on Sunday, causing a 3.5-mile traffic backup—officials did not report any injuries or provide a timeline for reopening the lanes. 13 News Now
- ➤ Firefighters in Chesapeake responded to a residential fire in the 1200 block of Shillelagh Road Sunday morning around 8:30 a.m.—no one was in the home, one adult was displaced, and investigators worked to determine the cause. WAVY

- ➤ Norfolk police responded to calls at an apartment complex on Monticello Avenue on April 27th when officers found a man with a firearm who did not obey commands and was injured by a gunshot; he was taken to a local hospital and the state police have begun investigating while the involved officers are on administrative duty.
