Old Dominion University will break ground on a new $184-million biological-sciences building on Monday, April 28, with state-of-the-art laboratories, a 120-seat lecture hall, classrooms, and core facilities—construction will start in May and the building is expected to open to students and faculty in spring 2028.

After a recent inspection, the city replaced the Tait Terrace crossing east of Ingleside Road yesterday—closing traffic for 2-3 hours—and will repair the East Little Creek Road crossing between Granby Street and Interstate 64 today from 9 a.m. to noon as required by federal rules.
