GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Hampton Roads Transit will offer free rides on bus, light rail, ferry, Paratransit and OnDemand services on Earth Day, April 22 — and will organize one-hour bus stop cleanups for volunteers. Representatives will answer transit questions at events on April 19 at the Virginia Living Museum and Norfolk NATO Festival International Village and on April 26 to 27 at Air Power Over Hampton Roads. - ➤ Jacob Derrick won the Limited Late Model 50-lapper at Langley Speedway on Saturday night. Defending champion Brad Adams and Chris Roberts also won races — the track marked its second opening night of the year. The Virginian-Pilot
