CULTURE NEWS

  • Host Raymond Jones invites listeners to tune in to WHRO-FM at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday for a live recording of Lucia di Lammermoor from the Kimball Theatre by Opera in Williamsburg, while WHRO-TV will broadcast the performance on Friday at 9 p.m.  WHRO

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Virginia will reenter the RGGI program this summer, which could add a monthly $2 charge to ratepayers; Dominion Energy plans to petition the commission in June as state agencies finalize rules by May (to fund environmental programs).  WHRO
