- ➤ A person died when a fire broke out at a Norfolk home in the 900 block of Avenue I on Monday, and fire crews arrived at 7:10 a.m., had the blaze under control by 8 a.m. with no other injuries reported—officials are investigating the cause. 3 WTKR

- ➤ Virginia State Police issued a critically missing adult alert on behalf of Old Dominion University Police for an 18 year old man last seen on Bluestone Avenue in Norfolk at 11:55 p.m. on March 30—he was possibly traveling in a gray 2006 Toyota 4Runner with Virginia plates TVE1156 in southwestern Virginia. - ➤ Virginia State Police and ODU police are searching for 18-year-old Malik Barekzi, who was last seen on March 30 near Bluestone Avenue in Norfolk at 11:56 p.m. — he is a white male described as 5'11", 140 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes and a shaved head, and he may be in a gray 2006 Toyota 4Runner. 13 News Now
