On Friday, Opening Day for the Norfolk Tides, general manager Joe Gregory said fans paid $16 for general admission while seniors got tickets for $14 and kids under two were free if they did not have their own seat — these prices kept the night cost-effective.

He added that food prices rose by 50 cents to $1, with items like hot dogs, sodas, and popcorn costing about $6, and that the park used a cashless system for safety and to reduce errors — fans with cash could convert it to a gift card at the front office.
