- ➤ After four years running a food truck, Nathan Ingram opened Sour Street Pizza in East Ocean View in January. The restaurant (born from a COVID sourdough experiment) uses a two-day fermentation process and premium ingredients (like organic flour and San Marzano tomatoes) to create its pizzas. Daily Press

- ➤ Virginia’s superintendent of public instruction Lisa Coons resigned Friday amid federal education funding changes, and school leaders voiced concerns about the future of public instruction. Gov. - ➤ Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer and NAS Oceana commanding officer Capt. Josh Appazzeto said the 2025 airshow will celebrate 250 years of America's Navy with jet demos and a historic focus.
