- ➤ Dequan Tyler stood in a Chesapeake courtroom facing a charge for possessing ammunition as a convicted felon while records showed he pulled a gun during a fatal shootout at Old Dominion University on Feb. 26, and although his attorney asked for leniency so he could attend his nephew's funeral on Friday— the judge ruled his dangerous actions required he remain in custody.
