Virginia MOCA will close its current home after this weekend with a two-day celebration starting Saturday at 6 p.m. with a party+silent auction and continuing Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum will relocate to Virginia Wesleyan University, expanding exhibit space with a planned opening in April.

Chesapeake Regional Healthcare cut the ribbon on a new inpatient behavioral health unit at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center on January 8.

The $10 million facility, funded by state and federal sources, offers 20 private rooms plus therapy spaces to provide home-based care; plans for an outpatient unit are underway.
