Forty Virginia National Guard members began working behind the scenes for Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Monday, handling administrative tasks and logistics as directed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin. The troops will finish training and join ICE offices by the end of the month while not performing any law enforcement functions — according to the governor’s office.
